The new lubricant from Smoove has a bit more technology behind it than we expected which creates a brilliant all weather lubricant
On the Bike
Applying Smoove was simple and quick but then it isn't a difficult job.
Smoove recommend you follow the steps below to get the perfect quiet chain:
6 SIMPLE STEPS TO A SMOOVE RIDE.
Step 1 > Apply SMOOVE to a clean dry chain.
Step 2 > Apply on the inside of the chain while turning the pedals to ensure that the lube gets worked into the chain.
Step 3 > Let the lube dry for at least an hour.
Step 4 > Best results are achieved if lube is applied the night before.
Step 5 > Do not wipe chain after application.
Step 6 > Too much lube will cause residue to accumulate around the derailleur pulley wheels and cassette.
Once on it seems to disappear leaving the chain looking clean and almost dry.
Why we like it
I’ve been using Smoove for the past couple of months both on- and off-road, and I can say it’s long lasting and makes a chain nice and quiet
After riding in muddy or dry conditions you don't notice any build up of dirt and grime

Smoove comes out of South Africa and founder Ruan Deyzel. Developed to last the worlds toughest MTB stage-racing
events without the need for reapplication. Do not confuse SMOOVE with any other chain lubricant, as when this is applied
correctly, SMOOVE outlasts the competition while keeping your drivetrain clean, dry and working effectively.
