Ride for Recovery 60 mile route 2020
Starting in the grounds of the Manor.
The route begins with a lovely tree lined start and heading down Tag Lane.
Crossing the A4 towards Waltham St Lawrence along Milley Lane from there you turn right towards Hurst via School Road and Plough Lane.
From Hurst you take the Wokingham Road taking a left just after the motorway along Forest Road.
Following straight one for a few miles you will then come across the main hill of the ride.
This is nothing to challenging so far but there is worse to come.
Staying on Forest Road towards North Ascot.
The next section heads towards the lovely Windsor Great park.
Leaving the park in Old Windsor.
After Fifield you head towards Paley Street and past White Waltham airfield onto Maidenhead.
Here you get to ride along the river for a small stretch before heading to Marlow.
From Marlow then climb up into the Chilterns which means there is still a down to come.
The descent into Hambleden valley which is a lovely quiet picturesque route but with a nice down hill so take care on this section
From there you pick up the Marlow Road again but this time heading to Henley.
From Henley you cross the bridge and take the quiet Remenham lane on the left then up the last hill towards Crazies Hill
A final loop around to pick up the entrance to Yeldall Manor and then up the drive.
There are some busy roads namely around Ascot to Windsor Great Park please use caution.
