Stunning weather for some challenging cycling in Swinley Forest on Sunday
Starting in the grounds of the Manor.
The route begins with a lovely tree lined start and heading down Tag Lane.
Crossing the A4 towards Waltham St Lawrence along Milley Lane from there you turn right towards Hurst via School Road and Plough Lane.
From Hurst you take the Wokingham Road taking a left just after the motorway along Forest Road.
Following straight one for a few miles you will then come across the main hill of the ride.
This is nothing to challenging there is worse to come.
Staying on Forest Road towards North Ascot.
The next section enters the lovely Windsor Great park.
Leaving the park in Old Windsor you get a brief view of the river.
After Fifield you take the Ascot Road through Holyport and into Bray and onto Maidenhead.
Here you get to ride along the river for a small stretch before heading to Cookham.
From Bourne End you take the Marlow Road to Marlow then climb up into the Chilterns which means there is still a down to come.
The descent into Hambleden is a lovely quiet picturesque route and from there you pick up the Marlow Road again but this time heading to Henley.
From Henley you cross the bridge and take the quiet Remenham lane on the left then up the last hill towards Crazies Hill
A final loop around to pick up the entrance to Yeldall Manor and then up the drive.
There are some busy roads namely around Ascot to Windsor Great Park please use caution.
